At first i wasn't quite sure of this pairing but figure give it a try.

Summary: Seeing her there sitting with a book in hand and her saxophone in its case by her, Nelson gathers the courage to ask the girl he has a crush on since six grade out on a date. He hopes she will say yes since she's a beautiful while he's once a bully terrorizing Springfield elementary.
Rubbing his arm nervously Nelson watch from the distance seeing Lisa Simpson reading a book under the tree with her saxophone by her. His heart hammers in his chest. She won't go out with him. He had been a bully in elementary and parts of middle school until the trip in juvenile hall with Bart Simpson where this one older kid taken the two under his wing actually straighten them out and shown them more to life than just being a bully or troublemaker.
"Hurry up man before I change my mind and kick your ass," The sudden voice of Bart appearing next to him startles Nelson and he looks at the younger boy who gives him a dark look.
"What?"
"Grow a pair of balls already and ask Lisa out. I see you stare at her several times and even she notice. She even ask me for help which is something Lisa doesn't do. I know you change and personally…I can't believe I'm saying this but I prefer you with her than Milhouse," Bart replies twitching and giving a grimace smile to the brunette teen.
"What if she says no?" Nelson ask looking fearful while Bart stares for a few moments.
'Idiot. She ask me for help since she has a crush on you but no clue how to say something. Ugh things I do for my sisters,' Bart muse before replying deadpan. "Go ask her Nelson."
Bart gives a look before shaking his head while Nelson walks over to his sister. It's about time. He been truthful about the part of him preferring Nelson over Milhouse. Yes Milhouse is his close and best friend but compare to Lisa he's weak. She would need someone to challenge her and make sure when she's over doing things. While it doesn't seem he cares about his sisters that's further from the truth. He wishes them to grow and be happy. He runs a hand through his spiky hair giving a small smile at the sight of Lisa staring wide eye spotting him over Nelson's shoulder spotting him. He raise a brow and tilts his head at Nelson before turning away giving them some privacy satisfied with himself.
Nelson clears his throat startling Lisa out of the book she's reading.
"Hey Nelson," Lisa replies with a small smile feeling her cheeks starting to warm and heart skips a beat.
"Lisa…I…Lisa would you like to go out with me?" Nelson ask quickly while Lisa stands up and stares in shock at him.
Lisa couldn't believe her ears. She gaze at Nelson seeing the hopeful look in his eyes along with fear. She spies Bart over his shoulder watching him with almost hint of a soft smile instead of a smug one he normally wars. He raise a brow at her while tilting his head towards Nelson with a big brother's blessing motion before walking off.
Turning to Nelson finding he's staring in the same direction where the only Simpson son walks off she replies softly taking his larger hand in hers. "Yes I would like to go out with you."
"Seven tonight?" Nelson breaths a hug smile taking place.
"Yes," Lisa grins as well while a comfortable silence lands over them.
