Lauren laid in the hospital bed, looking down at the newborn baby in her arms. Her son was now exactly five hours old and she still thought she was dreaming. She couldn't believe that she brought something so perfect into the world. As she wrapped the little blue blanket tighter around her son, the door quietly opened. The entire club walked through the door, obviously happy with the arrival of the newest addition. "He's gorgeous, sweetie." Gemma said, looking down at her grandson, before moving her eyes to the proud father.
Jax was standing beside the bed, his eyes glued on his wife and child; he definitely was a proud father indeed. "What did you end up naming the boy?" Clay asked, raising his brow. Everyone was super curious to hear the name, considering that it had basically been kept a secret for the entire pregnancy. "Ethan." Jax replied, nodding his head. "Strong name." Chibs chimed in. It was a strong name, considering that's literally what the definition meant.
"Oh, hey, we got you guys something." Gemma said, taking a small blue gift bag out of Tig's hands. She sat it on the edge of the bed and looked down at Lauren. "Give me the little one, so you can open it." Gemma said, carefully taking Ethan from Lauren's arms. Lauren reached for the bag and placed it in her lap, looking up at Jax as she did. She removed the tissue paper and looked inside, instantly smiling as she did. "Awh." She cooed, pulling out a Sons of Anarchy onesie and hat that would definitely fit Ethan.
"He's one of us now, he needs to represent." Clay said, looking down at his grandson. Ethan was going to be spoiled. He was going to be loved by all the guys, get showered in the best toys a baby could ask for, and he would wear the best leather cuts that a newborn could wear. The club was going to make him feel welcome. "Thank you, guys. Really." Lauren said, looking at the outfit. She found it to be extremely adorable.
As she ran a hand through her blonde hair, she looked around the room; everyone was cooing over Ethan. Not a single person in the room wasn't gathered around the baby. "I think we should give him back to his mother, we have things to take care of." Clay said, looking between Lauren and Jax. Gemma gently set Ethan back and Lauren's arms and smiled down at her. "You did good. He certainly is a beautiful child." Gemma said, her voice soft.
Of course Lauren had to admit that she never really felt welcome with the Teller's before, but once she got pregnant, that all changed. She instantly felt like she was one of them. There was the wedding, everyone helping her out whenever they could; this was where she was supposed to be. "We'll be back soon." Clay said, stepping out of the room with the rest following behind him. Once they were all gone, Lauren looked up at her husband and smiled. "Get some rest, babe." Jax said, kissing her forehead, before he took Ethan out of her arms and put him back in his little bed. She needed to sleep, especially after the birth. She had to be tired.
