A/N: Very short Naruino one-shot in honor of Naruto's birthday. Enjoy. Expect a longer fic tomorrow.
"Naruto-kun!" Shouted a twelve year old purple clad kunoichi.
"Eh? Ino-chan? What are you doing here?" Asked the boy she called for.
Ignoring his question, Ino ran over and pulled the smaller blonde into a hug. "Happy birthday Naruto-kun!" Said Ino. "I'm sorry, I didn't have any money to get you a gift. I'll make it up to you soon! I promise!"
She broke the hug to see a sight she did not expect, Naruto was crying. "Ne? Naruto-kun why are you crying?"
Naruto sniffed, "No one has remembered my birthday except you Ino-chan. Not even Hokage-jiji wished it to me today. Thank you, thank you so much." Naruto told her, this time pulling her into a hug.
Ino's eyes closed and her mouth gave a small smile.
"Of course Naruto-kun. I'll always remember."
