Set before Hell Night

A/N: I do no own the characters; they belong to CP Coulter and Glee.

It was movie night for the Stuart trio, and this week's movie was "10 Things I Hate About You." Logan lay sprawled across his bed on his stomach, and Julian sat against the headboard at the head of the bed. Derek lay on the floor propped up against the bed and insisted on whining over every bit of the movie.

"This is stupid."

"Shut up, D. I'm trying to watch." Logan snapped.

"Why do we have to watch a chick flick? I'm a guy!"

"Oh, and what are Jules and I, ducks?"

"Why would you be ducks?"

Logan threw a pillow at Derek, hitting him in the head, but effectively shutting Derek up, until he became restless again.

"But why a chick flick?" Derek grumbled.

"Look, it's a hot girl playing soccer and at once point she flashes her boobs. This movie is so you." Julian responded while shooting Logan a look to tell him to calm himself.

"We get to see boobs? Sweet!" Logan huffed at that but Derek stopped complaining so he couldn't be too mad. They continued watching the movie without anymore of Derek's whiny comments – except for when Kat flashed the teacher.

"You said we got to see boobs!"

"I said she flashed her boobs. I didn't say to who!"

Awhile later, when Patrick started singing to Kat, Logan shifts suddenly so he's sitting up. "I wish someone would do that to me."

"What, embarrass themselves?" Derek asked.

"No. Publicly and shamelessly declare their love for me."

Julian scooted forward and threw his arm around Logan before singing "you're just too good to be true…" then he brought his other hand to Logan's face and turned his head so Logan's eyes were looking into Julian's. "…Can't take my eyes off of you…"

Logan smiled and shoved Julian off of him. "Oh shut up Jules. I meant someone who was into me. You're just a friend." He flopped back down on his stomach, missing the scowl that graced Julian's face, and the look Julian and Derek shared.

Julian sat stewing for the rest of the movie and left right before Kat read her poem out loud to the class.

Logan didn't notice, blissfully unaware of any of his surroundings, caught up in the world of "what if someone loved me? What if I always just the friend?"
