In a small village, located in southeastern Meridell, there was a cottage at the end of the road where a young woman lives. She is a blue Zafara, her colors slightly faded, and she is known for being very quiet and demure. Though none of the locals think it odd, and never think to ask each other, none of them could rightly say they know her name. Her name is really unnecessary; all they need to know was that she is a benign, helpful soul.
Whenever someone is ailing, this young lady will bake them a pie, or cook them stew, and deliver it to them in her quiet way. She just leaves it on their windowsill, taps once, twice on the outer wall, and departs. She needs no praise nor thanks. It is merely a true kindness which asks for nothing in return, and this makes her a beloved figure in the village. Those few who have chosen to - as they feel - intrude upon her days in her cottage find a lovely little place. Many artifacts can be recognized as being exotic in origin, while her many shelves are filled with books and ledgers.
Should someone enter her home, she will forgo whatever she was previously doing, and indulge the visitor with her time. She's a brilliant girl, and although she speaks with the twang of the Meridellian countryside accent, it is so faint and tempered that it has an almost angelic quality. Her very conversational skills elevate the art of speaking, and she is wise in so very, very many different matters. She also makes a delightful cup of tea!
Regardless of her identity, why she steals away from the village under the moon for many weeks at a time, or what reasons she has for being so secretive, this woman is adored by all who share the village with her.
She is a reclusive, kind Neopet, and she asks for nothing in return for her kindness.
In part, this assuades the ache in her heart for being a spy.
Yet no matter who she serves, she cannot forget:
Her heart of hearts will stay in Meridell.
