A/N

Probably apparent, but I'll specify regardless that this is based on the episode Law of the Jungle and The Tyger by William Blake.

Burning Bright

Savannah tree is burning bright,

In the gloom of starry night.

Reflecting light of saddened eyes,

From a war that they despise.

...

Is this what Preds all to aspire,

To spread their war and burning fire?

This world again pays the price,

It's done it in the same day twice.

...

The fire's out, the night goes dark,

Yet still heavy is his spark.

Maximals, they say their words,

But they feel like hollow verse.

...

From lasers to Dinobot's spear,

More weapons for this world's tears.

They gaze but they cannot see,

From war they cannot be free.

...

And so the fire burns no more,

But there's more battles in this war.

So back into the dark they go,

Waiting for the Preds' next blow.
