Maybe they were condemned to hell. Maybe they were made broken. Maybe, none of them deserved this.

They all hated some aspect of themselves. They were probably the most insecure of all the Houses. Slytherin. It was said to represent the ambitious. But no one looks past that. The truth hidden behind locked doors.

.

Why would one be ambitious?

.

Everything has a reason. And all reasons hold something else underneath.

Slytherin wasn't made for the purebloods. It wasn't even necessarily made for the ambitious. It was made for the old. The strong. The worthy. Those who struggled to where they were. To those who had the world on their shoulders. It was made for the ones who would push eachother better than anyone else. The need to strive past those barriers. And push yourself to the brink.

Slytherin was packed with purebloods. Because only those born into the world with no choice were made to be ambitious. Not to say that halfbloods and muggleborns weren't ambitious, but they had no reason to. They were content with their lives. No need to match ridiculously high standards of the high class society. No need to control yourself even as a child. They had no need.

There were few halfbloods and muggleborns who made it into Slytherin. But the ones who did were made to be tougher. They were pushed harder than any in the House. Because, all the purebloods knew that they needed to make them to stronger. The strongest, if need be. Because, they didn't have a guaranteed spot in society like the purebloods did. They would suffer harder that anyone else. They would have to carve out their flesh if they wanted enough recognition to make a difference in this society.

Blood, sweat, and tears were poured into their making. Their blood was power, their sweat was their tears, and their tears were sacrifice. Hearts were frozen, and their souls were tied. They pushed themselves to the brink in order to survive.

The world won't wait for them. The world won't stop for them. The heavens will never rule fairly to those who bear the sins of their blood. Power will go to those who are willing to break themselves for the sake of it. If they don't push themselves to live, the world will leave them behind.

The heavens may hate those who hold the blood of the sinners, but devil will wait for them with open arms. When animals are pushed into a corner, they will fall to their instincts. A snake will always fall into darkness when they are pushed far enough.

The shadows will beckon them as they are vulnerable, and the darkness will swallow them when they are divided.

The darkness is perpetually waiting. Even as they think they have escaped, deep down, they know.

.

.

.

The darkness is always there.

.

.

.

It's just waiting for the time to strike.

Uhh. This was a small drabble I did in math. So, yeah. Anyways, I hope you review and favorite.
