"Sakura!" Naruto burst the door to her office open.
She was running faster than she ever had. Her heart pounding harder with each step she took. She still couldn't believe it.
An annoyed Sakura looked up at him. "What is it Naruto? I'm in the middle of something here." She straightened some papers and put them to the side.
She was almost there. She could see the crowd of people outside the Hokage's. There were ninja everywhere, making sure everyone stayed back.
"We found him." His words flowed out, bringing the room to a silence."
Naruto had the ninja move out of the way for her. Sakura rushed up the stairs with him. Outside the door was Kakashi.
Sakura's eyes widened and she stood up abruptly. "Is he..." She bit her lip afraid to ask the question.
Once all three of them were there Kakashi knocked on the door. It opened up and they walked in.
Naruto smiled, motioning her to follow him. "He's home. We've brought him home."
Sakura walked forward and froze at the sight before her. Pale skin and dark hair looked out the window. Naruto smiled like an idiot happy at the situation. Kakashi was glad as well to see his student home.
"Sasuke..." Sakura whispered with tears in her eyes.
He turned around and stared back at her. His dark eyes taking in the image before him. "Sakura... it's been a while..."
Naruto grew smug and nudged at Kakashi. He motioned for him to follow him outside and give the two a moment. He remembered how when they were younger, she only had eyes for him. They left the two alone.
"You look good." Sasuke took in her figure. She had grown quite a bit since the last time he saw her. "How have yo-"
Sakura smacked him across the face. She looked up at him with tears of rage. "I hate you Sasuke Uchiha."
