~Chapter 1~

I am Drake Fireside. A trainer from the Heavidia Region. 4 years ago I started my journey as a trainer with no sucess. My starter pokemon was a Charmander. Sadly, he ran from me in the middle of a battle ageinst a Blastoise (long story as to how we got into that one. Don't ask) Now, I stand alone. Ready to start a new adventure with my friends, Ivan and Thalia. Both of them being my best friends growing up.
My friends and I go to Prof. Steel's laboratory at about 10:00 am. I with my Bruins Jersey and ripped jeans on. Thalia is wearing a black sweat shirt and jeans aswell. Ivan has on a black T-shirt and army print shorts. I don't quite understand how he does this considerring it's snowing out in the dead of winter. We walk in the door and a greeted by Prof. Steel himself.
"Ah, Drake Fireside. Ready to try again are you?" He asks.
"Yes, I am infact. What you got for starters today?" I reply.
"We have a Mudkip, Charmander, and a Turtwig for you today my friend," he says happily.
"Mudkip huh? I'll take him," I say excitedly.
"Good choice for your battle style my friend, hope he finds you well," says Prof. Steel as he hands me the pokeball with mudkip inside. "And for you Ivan? Charmander or Turtwig?" He asks holding out the remaining two pokeballs.
"I guess I'll take Charmander, he'll be a good match for me" replies Ivan, take the pokeball with Charmander inside.
"Well Thalia, I guess that leaves you with Turtwig huh?" says Prof. Steel, handing her the ball with Turtwig inside of it.
"I bet we'll be a kick ass team," says Thalia excitedly. She take the ball from the professor and we head outside.
"So, I heard you like Mudkipz" Ivan jokes.
"Oh shut up knobhead!" I say grudgingly.
"Stop it you two, we need to be ready for wild pokemon to attack us, it's not like we can catch them yet anyway, we don't have any pokeballs!" Thalia says. Her being the most calm and collected of the group. She's the polar oposite of myself I guess you could say. I'm very fiery and loud. She's loud yes, but she's more calm as I said before. Ivan is middle of the road, more of a jokester than anything else. He likes to mess with us a lot. Telling me the Thalia and I should get togeather, I keep telling him we won't, but I guess he sees it diferently.
"Where to next guys?" I ask, being the leader of our adventuring trio, I need to know where we are going and when. We need to be ready for anything and everything, so we always have a plan.
"I say we leave Headia town and go to Steelport," Ivan suggests.
"We should go east and head twords Bostonia if you ask me," Thalia tells us.
"I say we go to Bostonia, we can go to Steelport later, I head the gym leader there is a lot harder to beat than at Bostonia, plus, we need to train our Pokemon ASAP!" I exclaim.
We start to head tword Bostonia, avoiding tall grass as much as we can. The three of us all agree that wild pokemon are very annoying. Within a couple hours, we reach Seatlas Town, a small town with a Pokemon Center and a Pokemart in it. We stay over night at the Pokemon Center because it started to get very late. The three of us did have to share a room. But don't even think some sort of anything went on, because it didn't wise guys and gals.
