"After everything I have done for him he still will not love me?" Mellie thought to herself.
Since the day Mellie met Fitz she tried to get him to love her. That is all she had ever wanted. Well, that and power. Fitz could give her both, which is why she married him.
"Call Olivia, make her come. I need Olivia!" Fitz says to his wife.
Fitz had lost his son. He needed the woman he loved to be there with him. Olivia was the only person who would know what to do and how to comfort him.
Fitz was lost in his thoughts of grief when someone came running into the Oval.
"FITZ!" she screamed and ran in the door, it was none other than Olivia Pope.
"LIVVY," Fitz screamed.
It was like a scene from a movie, they both ran into each others arms. Fitz had never felt better then when he was with Olivia. Being in her arms made all of his pain disappear.
"I thought you were leaving?" Fitz asked.
"I was but i realized I could never leave you. I love you too much. You are the love of my life and always will be. I can not be with Jake, I do not love him. You are the only man I could ever love. I want to be with you. I want to move to Vermont. I can make jam and we can raise kids together. I want to be with you for the rest of my life. I never want to leave you. I could not imagine my life without you," Olivia exclaimed.
"I love you too. I never want to be away from you for a day in my life either. You mean the world to me and I could not be happier that you came back for me," Fitz answered.
Fitz and Olivia just stood there for a minute and looked into each other's eyes. Fitz grabbed Olivia's face and kissed her. Oh gosh did he miss her. It felt so wonderful to be around her again. Even though they had only been apart for a few days, he already missed her with all of his heart.
"This is disgusting," Mellie said as she got up and walked out of the room.
Fitz and Olivia did not even notice her, they were to consumed with her and the life they wanted to share.
