Koriand'r stretched out her arms, drinking in the warm summer sun. It was on days like these that one truly appreciated the gift of life. The alien princess was thankful that she was alone. Despite her normal pleasure in interacting with her friends and teammates, humans were very contradictory creatures. After all, what other race could be so obsessed with sex, yet cower at the thought of public nudity? Koriand'r grinned as the sun touched every part of her, just as it had on the day she was born. The older teenager felt her feet lift off the ground. Oh, how glorious a day it was!
Maureen Collins drank in the sight of the alien woman outside, freer than Maureen believed most had ever seen her. The girl called Permafrost had only been at Titans Tower for two short days, but she had already grown attached to Starfire. She was beautiful and kind and funny and genuine, so how could Maureen not love her? Maureen thanked God that Static had seen to having her treatment done in Titans Tower. The treatment would reverse her transformation, allowing her the freedom Starfire displayed so openly when she presumed to be alone. Oh, how wondrous a day it was!
