Iris sat and stared at the cold, grey wall of her cell allowing her thoughts to drift. But despite everything troubling her mind, her thoughts continue to come back to one thing. Phoenix Wright. She looked down to the floor, the last thing she hadn't chalked drawings into. Her walls were covered in feint, scratchy drawings of flowers, butterflies, and Feenie. She looked up to the picture of Phoenix she drew yesterday, surrounded by hearts, and smiled. She had captured his eyes and hair very well in this one. Suddenly she knew what to do with the floor. She grabbed the chalky stone she used to draw and got down onto her hands and knees.

Phoenix Wright

His deep and blue eyes

Seek out the truth within hearts

Will always believe

She sighed and realized she couldn't fit everything about him in seventeen syllables. Soon she was hard at work on another.

Phoenix Wright

It's sharp and spiky

Like a hedgehog on his head

His hair is so cute.

She sat back on her heels and looked at her swirly writing covering the floor of her small cell. If she didn't write under her bed she could fit two more. She wasn't even writing that big.

Phoenix Wright

Suddenly he yells

An OBJECTION strong and loud

Pointing out the truth

Iris got an image in her mind and giggled, seeing Phoenix practicing his objections at lunch, attracting many sideways glances. He would always sit down smiling sheepishly, scratching the back of his neck. Then she remembered when she ran in front of him and hear "hold it" from behind her and Feenie would be sweating bullets, shoulders hunched, gulping air. Or that one time she was being hit on by another man and Phoenix gave him and uppercut to the gut shouting, "take that!" She looked back up at the picture on the wall, forgetting her current task, being swarmed by memories.

"Ms. Iris." She jumped and swung her head to the guard at the cell door. "You have a visitor. What are you doing on the floor?" he looked at her as if she were crazy and then shrugged.

"Oh, just wrighting, Mr. Guard. Who's come to visit?" she wasn't really listening though. Iris was coming up with her last haiku.

Phoenix Wright

All the things you said

Melted my heart so I say

I love you, Feenie

She was so preoccupied with her latest creation she didn't hear the guard say, "Mr. Wright. He has something to tell you, something important. Wright was practically jumping up and down. He kept mumbling and blushing. 'Dollie… no! Iris! Not Dollie. She's different." Over and over. Poor guy,"

Iris had a faraway look in her eyes when she sat down behind the glass. She didn't even see who was there at first.

"Iris?" She snapped to attention and her eyes widened.

"Feenie!"
