Chapter 1: Alex Meets Someone...or Something...Familiar

Alex was playing some Super Smash Brothers on his Wii U.

When Jigglypuff got KO'd, the announcer in-game said "Player 1, defeated!" Alex gasps and started to cry.

But before he could cry and tell himself that Jigglypuff is dead, he heard a thud noise outside.

"H-Huh?!" Alex said while wiping his tears. "What was that?"

Alex started to walk outside. When he was outside, he noticed a Jigglypuff laying on the ground. But it wasn't just any Jigglypuff; it was the same Jigglypuff that he saw in his game!

Alex gasped. He said to himself "J-Jigglypuff?! The Jigglypuff from my Smash Bros Wii U game?! What's it doing here?!"

Alex then walked closer to the laying Jigglypuff and knelt down. "Excuse me? Are...you alright?" He asked the Jigglypuff.

Jigglypuff looked up at Alex and said "P-Puff..."

Alex noticed that Jigglypuff was bruised. "Oh my...you're bruised!" Alex picks up the Jigglypuff. "C'mon, let's get inside!"

Jigglypuff nods and Alex runs inside the house with the Jigglypuff in his arms. He then lays the Jigglypuff on the couch.

"Did anything happen to you, little Jigglypuff?" Alex asked.

Jigglypuff nodded. Even though it was speaking by saying just "Jiggly", "Puff", and "Jigglypuff", it tried to explain to Alex what happened to it.

After the Jigglypuff explained, Alex pouted. "Oh...so you were fighting with some fighters and when you got KO'd, you transported here. Is that what you're saying?"

Jigglypuff nodded. It started to cry because of what it explained to Alex about.

Alex hugs the Jigglypuff. "Oh, don't cry, little Jigglypuff. I'll take care of you. I promise."

"Jiggly?" the Jigglypuff said as if it asked Alex if he promises.

"I do. I'll really take care of you."

Jigglypuff smiles and wipes its tears.

Alex puts his finger on his chin and looks at the Jigglypuff. "Hmmm...now what should i call you?"

Alex snaps his finger. "Ah-ha! I've got it! I'll call you Puffy! What do you think? Pretty cute name, huh?"

Jigglypuff nodded and said "Jiggly!"

Alex then said "Then it's settled! Welcome to my home Puffy! Now i have another idea about you?"

"Puff?" Puffy said.

"I wanna teach you how to speak my language. Then, i'll understand what you're saying!" Alex said.

"Jigglypuff!" Puffy said.

"Alright! But first, you need to get some rest, since you got hurt bad, alright?" Alex said.

Puffy nodded.

"Say, did you have a bow on you before you got KO'd and transported here?" Alex asked.

Puffy nodded, but it pouted because it didn't know where it is. "Jigglypuff..." it said.

"Don't worry! I'll find it for you! Be right back!" Alex then runs outside to find Puffy's bow.

After a few minutes finding it, he finally did, picking it up. "Now to get this to Puffy!" Alex runs inside. "Puffy! Look what i got!" He shows Puffy the bow he retrieved.

"Jiggly!" Puffy said.

Alex puts the bow on Puffy. "Ta-da!" Alex said. "Good as new!"

Puffy carefully hugs Alex and said "Jiggly!" as if thanking him.

"You're welcome, Puffy! I've got a question. What gender of Jigglypuff are you?" Alex asked.

Puffy traces the air with its stubby hand to make the symbol for a female.

"A female, huh?" Alex asked.

Puffy nodded.

"Well, since most people refer to your kind as "it", i wanna refer to you as "she" and "her". Is that ok with you?" Alex asked.

Puffy nodded again.

"Thanks Puffy!" Alex hugs Puffy.
