To Be a Doctor
House M.D. ONESHOT
Gregory House couldn't say he knew everything, despite how he acts.
He wasn't some superhuman who could save everybody, even though he tries to.
He isn't a kind person, and he always hated meeting people, although he listens to there problems. It was his job to save people, his job to help them, even though they couldn't help him, nor help themselves.
It was his job as a doctor to help them.
It was his job as a human to show pain and compassion, although he learned a long time back to stop showing those emotions, and only showed sarcasm or a cynical personality.
It was his job as someone who saw death constantly to help, even though he was antisocial to many people who tried to butt into his life.
"House, I know your not playing that game." Wilson stated, and House looked up, the lights flashing from the hand-held game, and he couldn't help the little smirk flash across his face.
"Nonsense, I'm almost done with the game, Wilson. Don't you have a life?" he asks, and watched as his friend bristles at the comment.
It was also his job to be a pain in the ass as well.
