So, here it is! Chapter 1 of the updated Oncoming Storm! Yes, I know the title is different and the name of the character will be too… and actually pretty much everything, but the original idea that I came up with for the character is the same, so if you did read the old story please don't give anything away.

I have mapped out the story and I think it's going to be around 30 chapters, with about 10 adventures, but there is definitely room for more, which is why I'm asking you, like I did with the last story, to send me stuff. You, my dear reader, are vital to this story (because without you there would be no point in me writing it) so, if you have an idea for a story, a rewrite of a real episode including a character, a favourite monster or character of yours you'd like me to write in (dead or alive, there are ways of working around these things) or anything like that, post a review or message me with your suggestion, and I will include ALL of them. And obviously, leave a review to tell me what you think of the story!

And another thing, anyone who reviews, messages me, follows/favourites me/the story etc, will get a sneak preview of the next chapter via PM before I post it! Sound like a fair deal?

I wanted to use this opportunity to set the scene because it's set in a different part of the Doctor's life to the original, so I'm sorry if this chapter is a little boring and short. More will follow, I promise.

Disclaimer: I do not own Doctor Who or any of the characters in it. There are a few characters throughout the story I have invented, however.

Here we go!

'Kidneys! I've got new kidneys! I don't like the colour!' The brand new Doctor winced in pain and grasped his beloved TARDIS, as Clara looked on in horror.

'Of your kidneys…' the shell-shocked girl murmured, as if the day's events had been so bizarre something like this did not surprise her.

Suddenly, the TARDIS lurched violently and Clara was thrown forward until her stomach, which was already leaping frantically, collided with the console. She groaned. She never normally got motion sickness in the TARDIS but today was proving to be an exception. She closed her eyes and tried to ignore the buzzing in her ears and the sparks flying off the console that surely were not a good sign. 'What's happening?' she moaned without opening her eyes.

The Doctor began frantically rushing around the console pressing random buttons. 'We're probably crashing,' he said matter-of-factly.

Oh no, really? Clara thought bitterly, gripping the scanner to stop herself from keeling over.

'Just one question,' the Doctor gasped. 'Do you happen to know how to fly this thing?'
