Author's note: I do not own Invader Zim or any of it's characters. Each chapter is supposed to be organized every 24 hours a day in the whole week.
Asteroid Chapter 1: 168 hours until potential impact.
It was a lazy and rough afternoon after school, poor Zim came home to his base beat up with his clothes ripped, since a group of kids including Dib went and beat him up. As he walked into his house he saw GIR watching "The Angry Monkey Show" while dancing around with a taco hat.
" EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" GIR laughed with insanity.
GIR was one very crazy robot, he liked the most ridiculous things and cause sometimes a burden on Zim. Although at other times he can be such an adorable help to the mission. GIR then stared for a minute with a stupid look on his face, for a moment there GIR was about to say something for the first time that actually made sense! But he just paused then went back to his "dancing".
" GIR , bring me my EISK"! Zim demanded.
"Ooooooooo, what's that?" GIR confused.
"DON'T YOU REMEMBER, I've told your already!"
GIR at least had an IQ big enough to go to the supply room to grab a suitcase with the irken symbol on it. It had red and dark purple designed and encoding on the suitcase. Well how did Zim get this suitcase, during his time in the academy it was handed out to everyone. EISK stands for Emergency Irken Survival Kit. And the suitcase was huge, it had things from all different types of medicine to small robot guides to help evacuate you off the planet! As Zim bandaged himself and used the medicine, he talked or *cough cough* yelled about his day.
" THAT STUPID DIB HUMAN AND HIS FILTHY HUMANS, I BET THIS PLANET WOULD LOVED TO BE DESTROYED!".
" Tell me a story about the Angry Monkey". squealed GIR.
Zim sighed to the stupidity of his robot, I guess telling GIR a story would be better than being annoyed the hell out of!
" Once a filthy time there was a very angry monkey-"
"YEAHHHHHHHHHHHH" Gir interrupted.
"The monkey flew into a black hole, the end" Zim said annoyed.
When Zim finished the story that had horrible improv, he started heading towards his research lab. Sometimes when a very short story is told to you, you'd want more.
" WAIT zimmy, the angry monkey wanted more" GIR yelled."AHHHHHHHHHHH".
GIR just decided to throw a huge tantrum and eventually fell asleep.
" Ugh thank the tallest that's over" Zim whispered.
When Zim went to his lab, it was unusually quiet, since GIR finally shut his mouth, but this type of quiet was different. It was the kind of quiet when the thrills of the Earth setting on fire took over Zim's imagination.
"Computer" Zim commanded "Set up my telescope".
"Yes sir, would you want to view this solar system too?" the computer said with no emotion.
"Sure, I guess"
Zim sat comfortably plopped on his chair to view the scene of the stars. As he view all of the milky way galaxy, he had such homicidal like thoughts of Dib running through his head. Dib was quite mean to Zim, only because he was an alien and he was planning to take over Earth. Or maybe there was much more going on? When Zim viewed the solar system he saw something in Earth's direction that would ruin Zim's mission forever.
"No, it can't be, the tallest would kill me, WHAT IS THIS?!" Zim worried.
The computer responded with the most unhopeful, unsupporting response Zim ever heard.
" That is a detected asteroid, it is almost the size of the moon, it's going at such a speed which could end human life permanately and there is only 168 hours ( one week) unitl definite impact.
In this chapter Zim had found out there is only one week to stop this asteroid from runing his mission, few main characters were introduced.
