Preface
A car stopped in front of the local orphanage, and a scrawny-looking woman stepped out. Setting a bundle on the porch, she placed a letter on top and got back into the car. She didn't mind ringing the doorbell; they'd find the boy in the morning.
Looking in the backseat, her son was safe and asleep while her nephew was cold and on the top step of the orphanage. Thinking back on it, she remembered the day she had found him on her own doorstep.
She'd been preparing breakfast, and the milk bottles had just arrived. As she opened the door, she saw a small bundle with a letter resting face-up on top of it. Picking it up, she brought it into the house and set it on the table top. Looking closer at the letter, it was addressed to her in handwriting she knew belonged to the Headmaster of the freakish school her sister had gone to. She opened it up and, throwing it down on the table in disgust, peered through the blanket at the now-moving bundle.
But that was six months ago. Just before she turned the corner, she saw an elderly woman open the door. She didn't know-or care, really-what happened to her nephew from that day on.

I have a question for you.
Can you see the similarities between him and Tom when he was a young boy?
Now I have an EDIT question for you!
How many of you are going to kill me painfully for temporarily abandoning this?
This is indeed in Petunia's POV, because I am completely against Mary-Sues. Not so much OC's anymore, because that would be hypocritical.
Liked it? Loved it? Hated it? Slightly disliked it? Needs to be revised?
Leave a question or comment in a review please, because (for me) reviews are like hugs from Severus; extremely rare and appreciated. Not to mention slightly warm and fuzzy.
Your faithful servant,
Kat
