Greetings folks. This follows the belief that Rose can still kick alien butt w/o the Doc, but she can still miss him, after all wouldn't you miss David Tennant if you had him in your grasp? Thought so.

Disclaimer: I own NOTHING. Doctor Who is all BBC's and the song "This Bouquet" is from the CD "Not a Pretty Girl" by Ani Difranco and is her's (and Righteous Babe's) and in no way shape, form, or plasma, is mine.

This Bouquet

…………..

See the little songbird unable to make a sound

She was on her way back to Torchwood from vacation in Norway when she stopped by the beach. Bad Wolf Bay.

You'd never know she follows her words from town to town

Looking back, she cursed herself on being a sentimental fool.

Still was.

Anyway, there was a wedding taking place. It was a lovely summer day, the wind sweeping back the bride's train just so.

It was hypnotic.

So she had gotten out of the car and taken an empty seat at the very back. She got a few looks of "You're late" but she hardly noticed. It was a beautiful ceremony. Classic, even in this day in age.

As the newlyweds dashed to the car to the after party, on a whim the bride tossed her bouquet, not even wondering who caught it. No one expected her to throw it so soon and there was a mad dash.

For nothing though, because someone had already caught it.

Later the bride would ask at the reception if someone had gotten it. No one had. The best man replied a blonde friend of her's had taken it and left. He described her and the bride said she didn't know her, even though she had been sitting on the "if-you-know-the-bride-side."

It was a mystery.

Rose still had the bouquet. It was dried and perfectly preserved. It gave her hope, in a silly sort of way. Rose wasn't superstitious, but all traditions had to start somewhere, with someone.

Sometimes hope blooms in the most unexpected of gardens.

And maybe it o.k. that I am speechless because I pick you this bouquet

Yup, sure am speechless but I picked you this bouquet
