"I know what I'm doing."

"Do you?"

He spun around, blaster raised, and didn't lower it a millimeter when he saw who spoke.

"Hey now, there's no need for that, we're all friends here," she said playfully, hands raised in defense, but he could see the dangerous glint in her eyes, the subtle venom in her voice.

Reluctantly, he lowered his blaster.

"What're you doing here, Jaida?"

"Nothing really, I just landed here to escape some goons and chanced upon this base, nobody really knows I'm here, but I've picked up a few things, overheard a few conversations, and found myself hearing you say 'force be with you' and then saying you know what you're doing, leading to me telling you about why I'm here, resulting in these very words I'm saying right now," she said smiling at how she lost him when she began talking about what she was saying at the very moment. She loved confusing people; it was so funny to watch them try to figure out what she had said.

"Whatever, my life had been so much better when I had no idea that you were even on this moon, let alone system," he grumbled, planning to turn back to his award and completely ignore the woman, but he found his plans to be ruined. How he hated her super ninja skills… how the hell did she learn to move that quietly, that fast? Geez, it was only a second window! Who in the name of-

"GOD DAMMIT!" he yelled, drawing many odd looks from passerby.

"Jesus Han, what's got your knickers in a twist? I haven't seen you like this since that one job a few years back where you had to pretend to be flamboyantly gay!"

He took a second to force the wave of unwanted memories out of his mind and then glared at the woman who was perched on a stack of crates which had his award.

"You, you pest, and don't you ever bring up that job ever again or you'll find yourself with a hole in your forehead, now scram, I gotta' put these on the Falcon," he snarled.

She just laughed at him.

"You seriously think that's gonna' work?"

"I can try."

"You don't try Han, you do, although I'm doubting that, seeing as I'm not entirely sure you know what you're doing."

"I know exactly what I'm doing, and that's getting you out of my way!"

"Well, you're failing."

"Go away Jaida."

"You're giving up, without a fight? That's it? Jesus, this is worse than I thought!"

"Jaida, I'm not joking, go away."

"Fine. Just do me a favor, seriously think about what you're 'doing' okay? See you 'round Solo."

And then a few guys carrying some giant piece of machinery passed by in front of her, and by the time they were out of the way she was gone.

Curse her ninja skills.

A bit different than what I normally do, mostly dialogue and such. I've had this idea ever since I first saw New Hope, I always thought it'd be cool to have someone ask "Do you?" after Han said "I know what I'm doing," because that's always what I thought after I hear him say that.

Jaida's love for confusing people and her little confusing speech is something that I do to people often.

And as for "that job a few years back", I'll let your imaginations run wild. xD
