Heroes
Heroes do not look for fame, fortune or recognition. Heroes help others in need because it is the right thing to do. Heroes are able to rebuild themselves from rock bottom over and over again without asking for pity. Heroes put the well being of others before themselves repeatedly without being asked to. Heroes are people who live in the shadows not asking for recognition. They are people whose stories have never been told. They are the people whose wings are cut before they even have the chance to fly.
Tim Drake was a hero whose wings were cut too soon.
Tim Drake was the forgotten one. All of his brothers demanded to be seen except for him.
Richard Grayson, the first Robin, the first kid sidekick, the first partner to Batman, the first child Bruce Wayne ever took in. He demanded to be seen, and had always been destined for greatness. Constantly smiling and laughing, able to make even the coldest of hearts melt; Richard Grayson everything Tim wasn't (or so he thought).
Jason Todd, the second Robin, the one that rose from the dead, the one that was murdered by the Joker, the rebellious Robin. He too demanded to be seen. Coming from humble beginnings he found a place in the bat family by having the sheer guts to try to steal the Batmobile's tires. Rebellious and brave since day one, Jason Todd was someone Tim had always admired. Jason Todd had more bravery in his little finger than Tim had in his entire body (or so he thought).
Damian Wayne, Batman's true son, Ra's al Ghul's heir, future leader of the League of Assassins, son of Talia al Ghul. He too demanded to be seen. Trained from a young age to take over the mantel of Batman and become the leader of the League of Assassins, Damian was everything someone could look for in a perfect heir. Damian was his parents' dream son, a constant reminder that Tim was unworthy of the mantle of Robin (or so he thought).
Tim Drake was a bird that was meant to soar but never had the chance to fly. He was the forgotten bird.
Tim Drake was the third Robin, heir to Drake Enterprises, a true hero. He was someone that had the ability to blend into the shadows and help others from the darkness. Tim Drake was able to save everyone but himself. Intelligent, calm, kind and a true detective at heart he was everything a true hero should strive to be. Tim Drake would be forever forgotten until the day he died.
