A sea of blue hair swayed back and forth. Umi was at a store in town, buying the ingredients for dinner, when she was suddenly took sight of a ash brown haired girl with amber eyes like hers, who was shopping.

"Wow she's cute," Umi thought, "WAIT! I shouldn't be thinking of such shameful things!"
The ash brunette took notice of Umi staring at her and giggled.
"Eek! Did I say that out loud?" Umi cried in her mind, blushing an incredible shade of red. The amber eyed girl giggled again and slowly walked towards Umi. Umi averted her gaze in embarrassment, walking away awkwardly.

"Ah! Umi! There you are!" a familiar voice appeared. Eli's (her childhood friend.) "Oh, who's this?"
Umi shrieked and pushed her out of the store, and as a result, they were both outside.

"Eli! I don't even know her!" Umi yelled.

"Eh? Is that so? You were totally checking her out." Eli responded.

"I was certainly not!" cried Umi.

"Yeah...sure you 'weren't'," muttered Eli under her breath, Umi pouted.

"You probably do the same to Nozomi anyway..."

Eli blushed. "That's d-different!"

Before they can argue again, a certain girl and a ginger haired girl stepped outside the store, and instantly noticed Umi and Eli. The ginger haired girl pointed her finger at the blushing Umi and pulled the amber eyed girl towards them.

"Hi there, are you the one who Kotori-chan bumped into at the the store?" The blue eyed girl asked.

"Honoka-chan!" The said girl squealed.

"Kotori, eh? Cute..." Umi thought, and Eli sniggered, with Honoka. The ash brunette blushed. Umi covered her mouth in humiliation.

"So I was wondering, would you two like to go somewhere? I need to go to a friends house, and I'm worried about Kotori-chan, so..." Honoka mumbled, fiddling with her fingers.

"That reminds me as well! I need to pick up Nozomi from the station today! I got to go, Umi!" Eli cried, and left immediately. The others blinked in confusion.

"She really does like Nozomi..." sighed Umi.

"Ok, Kotori-chan I got to go as well, enjoy!" Honoka said, and dashed to wherever her friends house was.
The two stood in silence.
"A-ah, nice to meet you, I'm Minami Kotori..." Kotori initiated the conversation.

"I-I-I'm Sonoda Umi, pleased to meet you..." responded Umi. There goes an awkward silence again...
"Let's go?" Umi questioned, and Kotori nodded.

"You really are a cutie pie, Sonoda-san," Kotori said, a bright smile on her face.

"C-call me Umi..." She mumbled.

"Alright, Umi-chan!" Kotori squeaked, and Umi fainted instantly.

"So adorable..." Were her last words...
