Cody's POV:
It's been about a month since All Stars, Mike and I have been celebrating like mad since he returned. Before you ask, of course he brought Zoey with him. It was really great to meet her for the first time; she's a really nice girl and they have amazing chemistry with each other. So yeah, I felt a little third wheeled. I don't mind though, the situation would probably be the same if I was the one with the girlfriend. I'm just used to a 'cousin's come first' thing is all. There's a month long reunion vacation for both casts coming up soon, that'll be pretty fun.
The three of us arrived at the resort and let me say: it was soooo awesome man! Mike seemed equally as astounded by the place.
"My god, this place is sweet! Let's find a room Zoey!" He yelled.
"Yeah, you guys do that," a familiar voice dryly remarked.
No way. I didn't think he was gonna show up after the types of things he said at the playa in World Tour. Noah actually decided to come!
"Uh, Codester? You awake dude?" He asked, seemingly actually concerned.
"Huh? Oh yeah I'm fine," I answered after snapping back to reality. "Just didn't think you'd be here bro."
Noah and I have been close since Island, so I'm really glad he showed up. Considering Mike would be spending most of his time with Zoey, and everyone else seems to like to go out of their way to avoid me, it'd have been lonely without him.
"Hey guys! Long time no see!" A female voice greeted as she recognised us.
Oh no. Oh no oh no oh no. This was one of the reasons why I was dreading the time here. Gwen. I know I shouldn't but I still really like her! In fact, no, I love her goddamnit! But I can't have her. I went to speak but Noah cut in.
"Hey Gwen, same to you!" He greeted back at my gothic love. "Cody and I were just-"
I'd passed out. Great.
Gwen's POV:
I originally wasn't gonna come to this month long little reunion, especially because it's got Total Drama all over it, but I realised I had things to do and people I wanted to see so I came. Gotta admit, I really didn't think my welcome would consist of an actually nice resort, a friendly and considerate Noah and a passed out Cody. Being completely honest here, it was probably the best welcome I've had anywhere for a while.
"I'll go help our little buddy over here while you go pick your room, ok Noah?" I offered. Cody was one of those people I wanted to see.
"Suit yourself, I'm gonna go rest my eyes. Tell the Codemeister his suitcase'll be on his bed," Noah responded, content with the deal I set out for him.
"Fine by me"
I picked up Cody and took him to the hot tub area. Finding it was a hard task but at least now I know my way around the resort. I lay him by the hot tub and got changed and got in, soothed myself in a little, and splashed some water on him. He woke up.
"Can I join?" He sheepishly asked.
"Plenty of room, big boy," I said flirtatiously and winked at him. "Get your swimsuit on and jump in."
Almost immediately, Cody left to change. About a minute or so later, he returned. And my, was he a sight for sore eyes... wait, what?!
"Since when did you have abs?" I asked, dumbfounded by a Cody with a tense set of abs.
"My performance in World Tour had inspired me to work out. I thought that if I could make the final 3 as scrawny as I was, I could probably win if I stepped up my shape. As my uncle Chris had always said; the better my shape, the further I could go," he answered.
Well I could understand his logic. But he really hot... WOAH GWEN! Am I seriously thinking about this? Maybe I'm getting feelings for him. Well I mean it is probably overdue by now.
"Gwen, I wanna apologise," Cody's voice snapped me from my thoughts.
"What for? You haven't done anything wrong," I replied.
"I'm sorry for loving you. I'm sorry I did and I'm sorry I still do. I know it's wrong and I know it's inappropriate but I do and I can't do anything about it," he broke down, covering his face and crying in shame for his love.
I pulled him in for a hug.
"There's no need for you to be sorry," I tried comforting him. "Cody, it's okay that you love me. It's actually kind of sweet, honestly," I blushed, but continued. "After my relationship mishaps, I don't deserve someone as sweet and as honest as you."
"You're right, you deserve better."
I couldn't contain it anymore. That little line broke my resistance. I locked lips with him and held it for a while. It felt... great! I mean really great! After a minute, I released him. He was just frozen in shock.
"Your suitcase is on your bed, there's a prom tonight."
