A/N: Okay, I was driving home from work recently and How Far We've Come by Matchbox Twenty came on the radio. This is a result of my mind wandering at that time.

"Clark, what are you doing?" Lois stepped into the living room seeing pictures strewn all over the small wooden coffee table.

She gently placed her hand on his shoulder as he looked up at her. She could tell he had gotten completely caught up in his trip down memory lane. "Just seeing how far we've come."

Lois sat down on the couch next to him seeing the picture that had currently caught his attention. It was one of Oliver and herself. She was dressed in a formal gown that Oliver had insisted on buying for her for the occasion. Oliver was dressed in his nicest tux standing to her flashing a smile to the camera, his arm around her shoulders. They stood underneath a large banner that read "Kent for Senate."

Clark turned to Lois smiling. "Do you remember our first kiss?"

Lois leaned back from Clark a confused look on her face. "Of course, I do. We were at the Planet and you kissed me." She saw a mischievous twinkle develop in Clark's eyes at her answer.

"What?" Lois asked. "Did I miss something?"

"You remember shortly after this picture was taken you were on the hunt to track down the true identity of the Green Arrow?"

"Yeah," Lois nodded still not sure where Clark was going.

"You got Jimmy to follow you to take a picture of the Arrow. Right after you kissed him, you turned around to see Oliver standing behind you." Clark's smile widened as Lois's eyes did as well.

"That was you?"

Clark nodded. "It was Oliver's idea. It was the only way he could figure to get you off the trail. Once you get your mind set on finding out something it's pretty hard to sway you."

"But, you love me for it."

"One of the many reasons."

A corner of a picture protruding out from a stack caught her attention. Pulling it out she saw it was of Lana, probably just after they had started high school. "But, you never forget your first love."

"No" Clark said taking the picture from her. "You don't."

"You told me something one time that was very true."

"Oh, and what was that?" Lois asked playfully.

"You said that I thought that I was saving up for a bicycle." Clark glanced momentarily down at the picture. "But, without knowing it I might actually find out that I was really saving up for a Harley. You're the Harley."

"And don't you forget it." Lois leaned over kissing Clark.
