"So, Annabeth, Truth or Dare?" Piper said, smiling wickedly.

"Truth, I guess." Annabeth answered suspiciously.

Piper's grin turned even more evil.

Leo laughed. "What are you planning to do, Beauty Queen?"

Jason grinned too. He already knew what his girlfriend, the daughter of Aphrodite, was up to.

Piper spoke to Annabeth, who was casually leaning against Percy. The son of

Poseidon put one arm on her shoulder, looking slightly confused.

"Well then. If you had to choose, would you rather possess the entire world's knowledge -and more- or have Percy and be dumb for the rest of your life?"

Hazel felt kind of bad for Annabeth. She was holding hands with Frank, who was smiling happily at her; obviously glad not having to answer that question.

"Well?" She barely heard Piper say this over the sound of Leo laughing about how torn Annabeth looked.

Nico, Hazel's brother, sat right next to her. He was looking rather sad, an emotion you won't find on his face too often. 'Hiding emotions is so much easier than showing them.' he once told her. Hazel wondered why he was so sad, but she couldn't afford to ask in front of everyone, although Jason glanced over knowingly. Did he know the reason why her brother was acting so out of his character and being so emotional? Not that it bothered Hazel, but it worried her.

Meanwhile, Annabeth still hadn't chosen one thing or another.

"Well?"

"Ugh... I guess... Um, I guess I'd take the entire world's knowledge. Sorry Percy but it isn't possible anyways so..." She defended herself. Percy only laughed and kissed her forehead.

"Don't worry, Annie, I'll always be here with you, even if you're a thousand times smarter than me. Not that you aren't already, but..."

Piper screamed and clapped her hands happily, Leo only chuckled.

But both Jason and Hazel had put on worried faces, looking at Nico.

But Nico himself turned away from them all, almost unnoticeable at first, and stood up.

Nobody could see the tear streaming down his cheeks as he rushed to the door, ignoring the other's confused questions.

'Don't worry; I'll always be here with you.'

Oh yes, Percy would. And Nico di Angelo would always be alone.
