I DON'T OWN CALVIN AND HOBBES. ALL RIGHTS GO TO BILL WATTERSON.

PROLOGUE

By this performance I mean not to offend, but merely to tell the tale of a boy and the beast he calls friend.

Although the language may be something new, to the story, humor, and wit, I have remained true.

The story I tell is of two bros, who are mostly friends, but sometimes foes.

First we have Calvin, his imagination is strong.

He thinks he be right, even when he be wrong.

He is intelligent sure, as sharp as a tack.

although in his studies, he is surly held back.

Then we have Hobbes, Who will stalk and dive

When Calvin is alone, this cat comes alive.

This tiger is cool, he's the toast of the town

Calvin's life is much better when good Hobbes is around.

I am proud of these characters, but I show no pretention.

So sit back, relax, and enjoy Watterson's invention.
