Outside a house similar to all the others, a pair of twins were sparring. It was me, Amaterasu, with my brother, Shiranui. We were almost to the end of it, we were SO close to finishing our battle. I quickly spit out a glob of blood which landed with a 'splat' on the ground. Wiping my mouth, I smirked. "Well, I suppose this is it." I said to him, raising an eyebrow and clutching my sword, Seven Strike, tighter in my hand.
"Yeah, it's gonna be!" Shi replied, narrowing his eyes and grinning like a child. "You ready?"
I grin in response and let out a low growl to get myself in the mood. "Yeah, I'm r-- WAIT!" I barked, twitching one of my ears. I heard the call that Waka sent us. "Waka's in trouble, Shi. Move to Cherry Hill, immediately!" I gave him a look that said 'just do it now', and he knew I was serious. With a nod, we both set off for our hangout, Cherry Hill.
I quickly set foot inside Cherry Hill. Or rather, the checkerboard under Cherry Hill. I let out a fierce growl, looking for Waka. I hissed under my breath as I couldn't see him. But alas, there he was, hobbling down the pathway to us, his eyes wide open in fear. Shiranui and I quickly rushed over to him. I had to support him by putting his arm around my shoulder and lifting him up, but he shrugged me off. "Stop!" He shouted, his eyes darting everywhere. "Stay on your guard, you two."
Suddenly, a blast occured in front of me, hitting Waka with full impact. "WAKA!" I howled, as he dissapeared in front of our very eyes. Shi stood up straight and stretched. "Shi, don't let your guard down." I said to him seriously, my eyes flickering back and forth quickly. Then, it happened. Shi was attacked.
"?!" Shi couldn't express his words at the surprise of ghost wolves running at him. I jumped into the air and looked around to see who was attacking us. But I couldn't see anyone, until she revealed herself. Rao! That fox wench!
I snarled, leaping at her. She nimbly dodged my attack, like I was moving in slow motion. Twisting around, I used my cherrybomb attack and my inferno attack at the same time. It set off a chain reaction on the bombs, but Rao was left unneffected. She was a worthy fighter. I raised my glaive up to her, snarling. "Where is Waka?!" I narrowed my eyes and flattened my ears. She stopped fighting. She raised her arms up in a peaceful guesture.
"Amaterasu, I have one thing to say to you.." She said, narrowing her eyes. She stepped over to me. She leaned in close to my ear, and chuckled. "Looking good, ma cherie!" She pulled back and laughed.
"I KNEW IT! KNNEEEWWW IT!" I yelled, pointing at Rao. "It IS you!" It turned out that it was Waka on another account. I knew it from the first time that Waka dissapeared, then right after, Rao appeared. It was quite simple. Shi, on the other hand, didn't get it until he [being Rao] came up to me.
And that was the story. Nobody else was online that night, so it was just me, Rai and Shi. XD
