What do you think was going through her mind

When her father killed her

For his own sake

Did everything nice he ever did for her

Flash before her mind

Was it shame or shock

From not foreseeing this

Was she thinking of his salvation

Just before he threw her

Over the cliff

So he could rule the world

Did it scare her to watch him cry

For the first time

"Reality is such a disappointment,"

He says to her

As if her life has been

Ice cream and sprinkles

With this monster of a father

I wonder how she dreamt it would end

Sitting in an ice cream shop

With her father on her right

And her boyfriend on her left

Eating, as if the world was slowly turning

With all that light still wrapped up on it

A dissapointment,

Her blood stains the ground

The reality she wanted

swallowed up
