"Sakura. Listen to me."
She huffed and turned away.
"No."
"Sak-"
"I said no, Sasuke-kun."
He frowned and gripped her upper arm tightly. "Sakura, quit being stubborn and listen to me."
She whirled around, all flashing green eyes and righteous anger. "Stubborn? I am not stubborn!"
Scoffing, Sasuke stepped close. "You are. You are stubborn and irrational and just listen-"
She stepped even closer, jabbing a finger into his chest. "Fine! But I have the right to be stubborn and irrational! You broke up with me and now you tell me to listen?"
"How is breaking up with you so bad? We've broken up before and you never reacted half as badly."
"Yeah, before you told me. You said it in person. This time? You didn't even have the decency to come tell me! You gave some scrap of paper to some random kid and told him to give it to me! One hint, Sasuke-kun, if you don't want some lady rampaging around demanding your blood after for breaking up. Never, ever, never-if-you-want-to-keep-your-balls break up with somebody through a letter. A measly scrap of paper what says 'sorry. we're over.'! Even if you have to, you could at least have to decency to give it to us by hand! How the hell do you expect us to react?"
He grimaced and shrugged.
Sakura muffled a scream and wrenched her arm away. "Stupid bastard!" She screeched, stomping away. He sighed, and went to chase after the volatile girl. "Sakura."
"I'm ignoring you, Sasuke-kun."
"Sakura. Sakura, please, listen to me."
She paused. A 'please' was rather new. "What," she bit out stiffly, slowing down her brisk pace. "What the hell do you want."
He jogged alongside. "Sakura, I'm sorry."
"Too bad. YOU'RE NOT FORGIVEN!"
"Sakura, I'm sorry. I didn't know you'd react like this! God, woman, will you just stop overreacting?"
She stopped in her tracks, trembling. And Sasuke shut his trap with an audible click.
Sakura slowly revolved on the spot, her bright green eyes narrowed and glaring at the man in front of her. "Sasuke-kun, if you really, truly, want to keep living to make it up to me, I suggest you not say another. Freaking. Word."
His lips pursed, Sasuke inclined his head.
"Now. Here's another tip, as you are sorely lacking in any experience with the fellow sex. If your ex is mad, you do not intentionally antagonize the poor girl by accusing her of anything. Especially if she was already mad at you before. Angering your ex even more while she's already contemplating ways to strangle you, does not help. Clear?"
He sighed. "Fine. What can I do to make it up?"
She brightened immediately. "Well, for starters, you can treat me to that fancy restaurant whenever I want until my trip in four months."
He snorted. "Really? That place is notorious for high prices."
"Well, you are rich, aren't you Sasuke-kun? 'Cause unless you've been lying to the treasury while you've been living here…I can't imagine they'd be too happy."
She glanced back, skipping ahead. "And besides, after getting horrible news by a letter, actually, a scrap of paper, I think I deserve a leetle bit of pampering, don't I?"
At his reluctant expression, she sang, "But if you don't…"
He blanched at the thought of the many horrendous things that could be done to his person, as she had previously expressed no qualms at all about doing them before.
He shuffled along. "Fine."
She giggled and skipped back, linking her arm through his. "I love you," she cooed.
"Hn."
"Oh, and Sasuke-kun? Tip number three: you do not emit nonexistent words to your girlfriend's heartfelt expression of love, or she will strangle you even if she does like your hair. Got it?"
