Okay...long story short; I left my laptop downstairs so I'm writing from my phone at the moment. I'm seriously too lazy *sigh* but yeah, this idea was too good for me to just sleep on it and wait until tomorrow to write it.
Hopefully the formatting for this isn't all weird and you like the chapter as much as I do! As of now this is a one-shot, but if you enjoy it, I'll make it a multichapter :)
"Attention residents of Shakopee, Minnesota. A blizzard is said to be arriving soon; please advise those who you know I the area to protect them. We suggest stocking up on food and wat-"
"Hey! What did you do that for?" A tall women with dark brown hair asked.
"It's boring me..." The man who sat behind a huge desk rolled his eyes.
"We're the administration here! It's our job to watch over the students and this is important...turn it back on!" She yelled urgently.
"What could they be saying that's sooo important?" He snarled sarcastically.
"Um EVERYTHING!" She screamed in a frenzy, "How are we supposed to let the kids know that they need to stay inside?"
"We'll just walk to each cabin and tell them...the storm can't be too close yet, I mean, it's not even snowing yet." He pointed to the window.
"Well, get up! We have to go now!"
"I hate you so much right now!" James shrieked across the small room, climbing up to his top bunk and hauling a pillow towards Kendall. He glared down at his broken lucky comb that was in pieces on the floor.
"Yeah? Well, I hate you too!" Kendall called out, blocking the pillow with his hands.
Carlos sighed, "Wanna know what I hate? This stupid boarding school!"
From the other bed, parallel to James', you could hear a slight whimper, "Shh!" Logan hissed, "I'm so tired and I can't sleep if you guys keep fighting!"
"All you do is sleep...can't you stay up for once?" James groaned.
"I'm exhausted, James." Logan felt tears well up in his eyes, though he tried his best to blink them away. He hated being so moody and fatigued all the time, but sadly, that was the effect asthma had on his body, and there wasn't much he could do about it.
"Leave him alone, Diamond." Kendall added flatly and watched as the youngest of the four lied back down and instantly shut his eyes.
His rest only lasted for a few moments, though, because the door was slammed open and in walked their sleep-away-school's principal and superintendent.
"Mr. Rocque? Ms. Wainwright?" Carlos' eyes grew wide with curiosity when he spotted that they were covered with snow.
"It's snowing out?" Kendall asked.
"It is now!" Ms. Wainwright glared at Mr. Rocque angrily.
"Just from now until further notice, stay inside...a blizzard is coming into our area." The heavier man explained.
"Hurry! To the next cabin!" Ms. Wainwright rushed to the door frantically, not wanting to be stuck outside when the snow and wind got really bad.
"Um..." She jiggled the doorknob and twisted the lock a few times, "No, no, no...UGH!"
"What?!"
"We're snowed in..." She broke out into panic and continued to push the door and knock on it, yet it was no use. The door's lock was completely frozen, and there was no telling for how long they'd be trapped, either.
if anyone wants me to, I'll make this a multichapter :) if not, one drabble is fine for now!
