I sorta just love how Poseidon and Athena's relationship is so much like pPercy and Annabeth's so I decided to make a Pothena one-shot. Yes I Probably have some more of his pairing either up or in progress, but there isn't a lot of it that I have seen and I thought it was a cute idea.
Poseidon and Athena were arguing during a council meeting with all of the seven present. It got to a point where Athena started using nicknames.
"Sea-Weed Brain!" She yelled at him.
"Um... Lady Athena?" Said Percy Jackson warily.
"What!"
"That's my name..." He replied, fiddling with his magical ballpoint pen.
"Fine." She said. The Wisdom Goddess turned to the Sea God once again.
"Barnacle Breath!" She yelled at him.
"Mine too!" Budded in Percy with a little more confidence.
She sighed. "Alright then!" She turned back to him. "Kelp-for-Brains!" She yelled again annoyance clear in her silver orbs.
"Mine as well!" Interrupted the Saviour of Olympus, his hand raised and a childish expression on his face like he was the second grader to win a contest.
"Who in the name of my father calls you that?!"
"Thalia, Nico, and sometimes Annabeth." He replied nonchalantly.
"Kelpie!"
"Mine!"
"Fish Breath!"
"Me too!"
"Eheheh. This is hilarious." Poseidon laughed, conjuring up a handful of popcorn and shoving it into his mouth, contemplating putting on come classic 3D glasses too.
"Will you shut up!?" Screamed Athena.
"Nope." Replied Poseidon calm as the waters in Cuba that day.
Athena suddenly stood up, stormed over to Poseidon, grabbed him by the shirt collar and kissed him. One minute later she pulled away. "NOW will you shut up?!"
"One more just to make sure?" Grinned The Lord of the Seas. Athena stormed out of the Throne Room and the demigods laughed.
"Like father like son!" They chorused.
