Lucy POV
It was a normal day in Fiore, or at least I thought it was. Everything seemed normal, except I had one of those bad feelings. As I walked through the centre of town, I greeted everyone I met. But I didn't know what I was doing to be honest but it was quite early so there probably wasn't going to be anyone at the guild yet. After deciding to head off there anyway, I met Natsu in town,
"Hey Natsu, you coming?" I cried out to him (quietly though)
"Oh hey Lucy" he replied "No sorry, I have something to do"
"Ok, well see you later unless you want me to come with him"
"No it's fine, honestly" he said, sounding dazzed
"Ok bye!"
Was it just me or did Natsu sound almost dreamlike in the way he spoke, like he was still half asleep. I don't blame him if that's the case, its 7:00 am after all, very early in my opinion.
Walking into the guild, I noticed a few of the members were acting strange, kinda like Natsu was, however I didn't question it, maybe they were all tired too. There were also a lot of people in the guild for this early in the morning, if they are tired, couldn't they have stayed asleep for a bit longer?
30 painstakingly minutes later and Natsu still hadn't arrived, I was starting to get worried, a lot. Another 20 minutes later and I started talking to Gray about how I was worried, he agreed
"Its not like Natsu to be this late" explained Gray
Literally 37 seconds later (not that I was counting or anything), Natsu walked in, but walked straight past us (not even looking at us) and went to go talk to Erza, Happy and a few others. As he walked back past me, he whispered
"See you later love"
I almost died! No one knows but I have the biggest crush ever on Natsu, even bigger than Juvia's on Gray (yes I know about that but shhh)
Natsu POV
I didn't completely know what I was doing. I remember needing to go somewhere on my own in town and had to tell Lucy I didn't need help. I then remember walking into the guild, talking to Erza, Happy and a few others, walking out again and saying to Lucy
"See you later love"
I had no idea what was happening. Thats when I opened my sleeping eyes, and saw him.
