"A Dash of Memories"

Hello and welcome to " A Dash of Memories". Please enjoy. Warning: I may revise this, again.

Hello, everyone.

Today, I had to run.

Although it was no fun,

I had to get it done.

When break time came here,

I fell on my rear.

Soon, I felt drear

And felt a tear.

It was wet, yet cold.

I felt like I had lost something old.

It was not black mold,

Nor was it gold,

But something else of importance to me.

It was not a knee,

Since penguins do not have any to see.

Now that I do remember, it was someone very close to me.

He had helped me get to the place where I am today.

'Uncle Nigel is the name', he would always say.

I remember him like it was yesterday.

He waved goodbye to me as I got shipped away.

Soon, I was at sea.

I thought it would be nice to drink some tea,

But all I brought was a jar of honey from a bee.

Eventually, I had arrived from London, in New York City,

And was greeted by a sight that was of no pity.

At first, I felt like doing a ditty,

So I chose to prance around like a little kitty.

Soon, I felt a sharp pain on the back of my head,

Making me feel like I was dead.

A few minutes later, I had woken up in some sort of bed.

I tried to lift my head, but it felt like lead.

So I set it back down

And began to frown.

Why did I ever leave my hometown?

Or trained to become a circus clown?

But soon, I decided to change my mind.

Although I knew I was easy to blind,

I was still very kind

And introduced myself to the three penguin bind.

From there, our friendship grew

Into something that was relatively new.

Together, the four of us defended the zoo.

The Central Park Zoo, to be true.

Here, we've kept ourselves busy,

Despite the fact that today's hot air was making us all dizzy.

Also, the pool water was looking rather fizzy.

Oh dear. Now my feathers are all frizzy.

Any who, I've got to go inside now.

For love smoothies, for my friends, I gave a vow.

I will tell you, they taste really…Ow!

Rico, please don't have a cow.

Well, thank-you for stopping by.

Oh, my.

How time does fly.

Well, good-bye.

So that is how Private met the other penguins. Any who, thank-you for reading this. I hope you enjoyed it.
