Author's Note: I will post a collection of poems here about Gaara. This first one I wrote for my English class. It is a Shakespearean sonnet.
His soft eyes seem to sing a silent song,
About his lonely world they slowly shift.
He stops to think his own perception wrong;
Into another world he starts to drift.
Alone no longer is that fragile boy.
His broken soul builds heaven in his mind.
A vision newly found he does employ;
He sees only that place he's longed to find.
But then his uncle's words said long ago
Pierce through his heart, corrupting that lost soul:
Love is a word that he can never know.
That boy forgets what once was his one goal.
Now death alone the red demon may bring.
His hopeful, ice cold eyes no longer sing.
