The shadow of heroes
Jay Jackson twice over hero of Olympus and older brother of of fellow hero of Olympus Percy Jackson. Jay was sitting by the lake fiddling with the shadows. You see he is... special he's the son of Kronos,hades,Tartaurus,nyx,Hecate and styx. How is something I'll explain later... maybe. He is by the lake thinking. it's been three years since Gaia. When he hears the conch horn sound meaning the hunters arrived he got back to camp three months ago he left after Gaia was defeated and joined the u.s military. He's back and he snaps out of his thoughts and heads up the hill towards the hunters. The campers masses around the hunters as they arrived jay couldn't help it and grinned he walked towards them as the campers soon started to disperse. Jay learned on a tree and looked at Thalia she looked at him and smiled running forwards she slammed him to the ground in a hug. He laughed and got up she blushed in embarrassment and quickly rolled off him. He got to his feet and offered her his hand. She excepted it without a thought and got off the ground. She asked"so where have you been for three years?" Jay answered"joined the military it was life changing really it changes your perspective on a lot of thing." She nodded until Artemis cleared her throat. Jay walked off towards the arena and activated his ring which turned into his sword. He experimentally slash and soon remembered all the moves he'd learned over the year. He was moving from target to target like a whirlwind of death. When he finished he stood in the middle of a pile splintered wood and straw. Thalia walked in and said"you certainly haven't lost skill at all care to spar." Jay said"ah why not." Thalia grinned and activated her spear and shield. Jay remained unaffected by aegis. He launched forwards slashing vertically Thalia blocked barely startled by the speed and ferocity of the attack. Jay slashed left and right Thalia barely keeping up. Jay purposely left an opening she lunges at him he caught her spear with his spare hand and kicked her stomach. She stumbled back but still held onto the spear. Jay pulled the spear towards him then let go as he wrapped his arms around her leg and one on her waist flipping her over him then ripping out a dagger he puts it to her throat and said" I win Thalia yield." She waited then muttered "fine I yield." Jay untangled himself from Thalia and then got off the ground offered his hand and pulled her from the arena floor. They went there separate ways and continued on with there day. Jay met Percy's brother Daniel at dinner that day. Jay sat next to percy who sat across from Daniel. And asked"what's up Perce." He answered "nothing much." Daniel chose this moment to speak"why are you here your not a son of Poseidon that's for sure." Jay said"because I want to got a problem with that." He scoffed"as if you could do anything about your probably a child of some minor god your not even worth the breath I'm wasting."Jay said" sure as if your minuscule intellect allows you to be at all superior to anyone here."he said"if your the hero of Olympus it must of been all luck."Jay rolled my eyes he said"I don't see why you turned down godhood if anything I should be offered god hood I saved your pitiful brother Percy."Jay looked at Percy and asked"what happened?" He said"I killed to baby hellhounds while protecting him and while I was thinking he wrestled me to the floor and took my sword."Jay laughed and said"wait baby's they weren't even fully grown." He was about to answer when Daniel said"they were huge your lying they were full adults not baby's." Jay said"wow kid you have an ego bigger than Zeus." He scoffed and muttered something jay ignored him. He finished dinner then went to bed in the hades cabin.
The next three months were hell. Daniel was a dick and did things he flooded Katie's garden, stole Jason's sword told piper jay thought Aphrodite kids were useless and the list continues. Jay's only friends were now limited to Thalia,Percy and Nico. Jay was by the lake it was midnight and Thalia was walking on the beach she spotted him and sat next to him. She asked "so what has you at the beach at midnight?" He answered "just...thinking." She asked"about?" He didn't answer her he just turned and stared then answered "you." She looked shocked then looked him in the eyes and slowly leaned in jay did the same until there lips met and butterflies exploded Jay's stomach. They closed there eyes then broke apart when a flash of light went off they immediately looked away and where the flash was stood commanded Thalia "Thalia get over here." Thalia did as she was told and smiled sadly at jay. In a flash they left. The next day the hunters left. Daniel was tired of not getting a reaction from jay so he challenged him to a duel jay won relatively easily he had Daniel in a sword lock. Daniel raised his sword to where jay's was right in front of his heart. Then he moved his sword and jay's pierced Daniels heart. Everyone was horrified annabeth ran to the arena and in Daniels last moments kissed him much to Percy's shock. Jay looked directly at percy and the two entered the Poseidon cabin. Percy was pacing seething with dark rage. Percy looked at jay and said"what are we going to do." Jay asked"we?" He replied "well yeah annabeth kissed him KISSED him." I said"well pack because I'm not letting Aphrodite get away with this we can first go to mom." Jay continued"but for now pack and sleep I'll do the same." And percy did exactly that Jay then shadow traveled to the hades cabin and met Nico who stared at him with.

It was hard to tell jay packed then slept. Jay woke the next day to banging on his door he ignored it and reined in his emotions he shadow traveled to Percy's cabin grabbed him with his stuff and shadow traveled away...
