Some days were harshly cold

Bitter

He watched the snow fall around him

wondering when it came to be

She watched her tears

mix with THE BLOOD
that could color snow

Love could be unrequited and bitter

She curled up

as if to hide that coldly mixed with her tears

She smiled as if life's cruel joke was funny

He and her

weren't connected at all

They knew not of each other's pain

She did not pine for him

He was not hurt over her

Alone, sadness draws its connections

among differences.
