I know I should be working on Apollo's Song, but this I HAD to do!
It was, as always, a gorgeous spring day on Olympus. Hestia was sitting by her roaring firepit, thinking this. But some of her relatives were too busy arguing to notice. Hestia was in a great mood-until she saw them.
Hestia grumbled, something she never did.
Zeus and Hera were bickering about Thalia AGAIN. Hestia didn't see the point. The girl was there, and there was nothing they could do!
Aphrodite and Ares were arguing as well. Apparently Ares had given her a lipstick color she didn't like.
Athena, Poseidon, and Hades were yelling insults at eachother. Hestia didn't have a clue as to why.
She was very annoyed at this. They were like teenagers in high school, all of the drama and craziness. They cursed eachother twice a day for stupid things when in, for example, the high school world, there were unsolved issues like drugs and teen pregnancies. She wished they'd just shut up!
An idea occurred to her.
She called in her charming, 9 year old voice,
"Zeus? Hera? Aphrodite and Ares? Athena and Poseidon? Hades? Come here please!" They all heard. Although they weren't very far away, they all flashed over to her in their huge form. She wasn't in a huge form, but in her human, so it was like talking to giants.
"Can we help you, Hestia?" Zeus asked, sounding somewhat relieved to have gotten out of the conversation.
"Why, yes, you can Zeus! You and these six can go and be high schoolers!" Zeus laughed at the ridiculousness of the suggestion.
"That's quite funny! We'll never endure that torment!" Hestia smiled almost evilly, a first for her.
"Oh, but you will! You see, I have my first curse in it's prime and it's all ready for using! So from now on, you seven are cursed. Until I see fit, you will all be teenagers. You'll go to a high school in a tiny town called Lafayette in New Jersey. And your fates will be controlled by me."
The gods felt their appearances morph and felt themselves shrink. Well, Aphrodite just felt her appearance stop morphing and felt herself shrink. Hestia looked approvingly at all of them.
Poseidon looked a lot like Percy, just a bit more muscular. Hades had shaggy black hair, olive skin, and black-blue eyes. Zeus had trimmed black hair, light skin, and flashing blue eyes like Thalia's. Ares had a bloodred Mohawk and tanned skin to compliment his reddish brown eyes.
Hera had straight, ash blonde hair tumbling down to her waist, and her eyes were a shimmering blue green, along with pale skin. Athena had black, tightly coiled ringlets down to her shoulder blades and her trademark stormy gray eyes, along with alabaster skin. Aphrodite looked like a Barbie with her huge blue eyes, fair skin, and wavy honey tresses.
All of the gods were tall. However, Aphrodite and Hera were taller, while Athena was petite.
They all looked seventeen except for Zeus and Aphrodite, who looked eighteen.
Hestia loved this part the most.
"You have to name eachother. Ares, you and Aphrodite will name eachother, Zeus and Hera, Poseidon and Athena, and Hades…well, you can name yourself." A wave of complaints started, but Hestia gave them a very uncharacteristic glare and they died quickly.
Soon, Aphrodite was Ruby, Ares was Romeo (to his distaste), Zeus was Balthazar, Hera was Faith, and Hades was Bob. Then there was Poseidon and Athena.
"Marvin. That means from the sea. You're Marvin. Who am I?" Athena stated. Poseidon looked a bit uncomfortable. He mumbled something.
"What?" Athena asked.
"Bella. You're Bella." Then he walked away. Athena thought for a moment. Then she blushed.
HAHA POTHENA YAYYY!
Reviews are to me what knowledge is to Athena!
