i dont own avatar the last airbender

James was a normal guy. He lived a simple life nothing special. His main philosophy in life was that he thought everything happened for a reason to guide us on our life path that we each have. James loved being around his family. He spent most of the time he could spare with his grandparents. One sunny day James was at his grandparent's house. James was outside just wandering around in the back yard. He loved the outdoors that's where he went to do most of his thinking on major issues that was bothering him. On this particular day James had a problem. He was wondering why he has no goal in life. Why he lacks his own life plan to follow. As he was contemplating this problem he was laying in a swing looking up at the skies watching the clouds pass by. This problem has been bothering him all through life. He decided to get off the swing and walk around the garage that was beside the back porch of the house. As he made his rounds around the garage he noticed each time he passed the porch his eyes would linger on the blue pail sitting near the edge of the porch. He didn't think much of it at the time. Nor did he realize that the pail had water in it. He just kept walking with his thoughts weighing him down with each stride. As he rounded the corner of the garage that met back up with the porch he stopped about 20 feet in front of the pail. All his thoughts left him as he felt a real strong breeze brush his face. Then it happened the breeze had pushed the bucket right off the edge of the porch. To James the bucket was falling in slow motion as he watched. Then a thought came into his mind and without thinking he did as the thought said and lifted his hands and said stop. The bucket hit the ground. That didn't matter to James. He didn't even look at the bucket his eyes were fixed on the water that was hanging in the air like it was floating. James didn't blink. Instead he thought I wonder what if I move my arms and hands. As he moved his arms and hands in different motions the water mimicked his movements. He said to himself I am waterbending with a bit of disbelief. He had seen the show avatar the last airbender. So he decided to try and mimic some of the moves he had seen on the show like a simple waterwhip, feeling the water move to him was like the water was a part of him. As he was experimenting with the water he started to think what would my grandma think if she saw this I mean I am doing this and I am shocked imagine how she might react. So with that thought James finished up another waterwhip and then allowed the water to drop to the ground. As he walked up the porch with the bucket all he could think of was wow I think the answer to my problem has arrived finally. James closed his eyes and when he opened them it was dark. He looked around and noticed the alarm clock on his nightstand. He laid back down thinking wow what a dream. Then the thought occurred to him what if it wasn't just a dream but something more?
