A/N: Just a little drabble my friend inspired me to write. I asked her whose POV she'd like to see a Kate and Gibbs story from. Of course she chose the one I can't right. Tony is surprisingly complex. As a Kibbs writer my Tony characterization has had no work.

I had suspected this for weeks. That they were together but I hadn't had concrete proof until now. I mean everyone knew, even if they thought their secret was still a secret, which was crazy. The subtle change had been sensed by all. There was a softness around him, subtle as it was, that none of us had ever experienced. It wasn't like he was suddenly kind, nice, and forgiving. On the contrary, he seemed to be less forgiving than usuall, but it was noticeable in the little things. He drank less coffee, as if he didn't need the caffeine to sustain his life anymore. I saw him actually leaving the office around the time everyone else did. His stride had been tweaked to more match hers, his driving had become more human, and even I noticed that he smiled and laughed more often. Hers wasn't as much of a change. She smiled with those soft, secret, smiles the ones where her lips didn't reveal her teeth. She was less tense, her shoulders actually hung where they were supposed to. There was a soft glow about her, the fire that used to jump to her eyes when he scolded her, which was on very rare occasion, was more subdued. It was as if, she knew, like the rest of us always had, that it was all about her safety.
But this, this sight, put the office pool money in my pocket. If only I had a camera, but even if I did I didn't feel like betraying them right now. I had never seen her quiet this happy, and I had eavesdropped on many of her flirtatious phone calls. But i guess his was the more obvious change ; he was happy. He was holding a can of Prego in one hand, his face soft, his smile twitched with humor as he looked down at her. Her thin hands were placed on his other forearm. Her hair blocked her face as she laughed. I stood there, at the end of the aisle, watching the two of them. It took her several seconds to compose herself enough to place the glass container back on the shelf and grab the correct jar. I was with him; they looked all the same to me. She placed her new jar in the cart, and led him to the next aisle with a subtle push against his back.
I stood in the aisle alone for a long moment before grabbing the Twinkies I had come for and heading off to the cash register. Gibbs and Kate, no one had seen that one coming. Yeah right. It was odd all the same though, seeing her content, him happy, and the two of them together.
"Macy" I said leaning close so I could read the cashiers name tag, "beautiful name for a beautiful woman" She giggled.
A/N: WELL…don't keep me waiting.
