Every day it gets harder and harder to live without you
I search and search knowing that they were wrong, that you would never leave me
The sun rises and sets, the phases of the moon pass by
And still I am empty, apathetic, and alone
The world goes on around me leaving me stuck in the past clinging to a memory
Until one day, as twilight descended I saw a shadow, a beautiful, familiar shadow
My heart squeezed in hope, in desperation
The world stopped as you walked in still beautiful, still perfect
In seconds our bodies intertwined as though they had never parted
And finally I was complete
