Riza covered her mouth with one hand and tears fell from her eyes as Ed told her about the Colonel.
She closed her eyes yet tears still escaped she couldn't believe what just happened.
Roy mumbled her name as he sat in the car eyes wide open but empty.
"Lieutenant... Lieutenant... Please answer me..." he said a little louder.
She couldn't move an inch. She wanted to hold him but it was too painful to even hear his voice.
"Riza... please..." he whispered.
Her feeling couldn't be contained anymore and she held his hand.
He closed his hand around hers and said, "This is my pain not yours, don't cry..." he released his hand when he felt her liquefied pain drop on his hand.
He searched the air for her face and once his hand landed on it he cupped them with both hands then let his finger wonder every inch of it.
"Your face is filled with your tears, it's too much. Enough crying, your eyes are starting to bulge..." he smiled.
"Your dreams... If I just wasn't injured... I could've been there to protect you... If only I was there to stop this from happening..." Riza sobbed.
"Enough!" Roy shushed.
Ed, Izumi, Al and May watched silently feeling sorry for the two.
"Fullmetal? Where the hell are you?" he shouted.
"I'm right here..." Ed answered.
"You know you're lucky... loosing an arm and leg, yet being able to walk and hold thanks to the person you love," Roy stated which made Ed blush and smile.
"Alphonse, being in that state... You feel bad coz' you can't feel yet you're not some dummy, you still have emotions, you just can't touch." Al just smiled no longer correcting the Colonel about his form.
"Izumi, you might not have your insides but you still see your husband's smile..." Izumi turned to her husband.
"You see Riza... there is always something good in it. I may not be able to see you but I can feel you... You're still here, I'm still here. It's better for me to be living in the dark, than not living at all..." he said.
Riza hugged him and cried into his shoulder.
He moved his hand to her hair and stroked it.
Shall I keep it a drabble... or shall I add something more... R&R
