Atem's Pov
It was a chilly night in October. The sound of rustling leaves all around me. 'I should go for more walks at night.' I've never felt so peaceful as I walked through the forest.
Your Pov
As I sat on the cliff overlooking the rest of the forest, I took a deep breath of the crisp autumn air. A cool breeze carried scarlet and golden leaves around. I watched as the leaves floated down towards the treetops. "So beautiful." I said to myself.
Atem's Pov
I came to a clearing. On the other side of the clearing it seemed there was a cliff dropping down into the forest below. The cliff seemed worn down from rain and wind. But the cliff isn't what got attention. My attention was more focused on the beautiful girl sitting on it. She looked like an angel, the moonlight gracing her features. I stood there hidden by trees and watched her as if she were a deer and the slightest movement would scare her.
That's when I heard a crack, I looked at the cliff on which she was perched. It appeared to be crumbling beneath her. My feet started propelling me to her. "Miss! Be careful!" I shouted to her.
Your Pov
"Miss Be careful!" I turned my head towards the voice and saw a man running at full speed in my direction. "What do you mean?" I asked frightened. He didn't reply, he just kept running. Just then I heard a loud cracking noise coming from underneath me. I sat frozen in terror. "Hold out your hand!" the man exclaimed, but I sat paralyzed. I could feel the ground cave in under me. The man grabbed my arm and tried to pull me away, but I couldn't budge. He finally scooped me up in his arms and ran back into the forest. Not two seconds later the ground began to collapse. The man stopped and turned around. We both watched as the cliff descended into the forest.
Atem's Pov
I stood still holding the girl in my arms, panting hard trying to catch my breath. The girl looked up at me with wide eyes, "You…You saved me." I nodded in response. I set her down, and stood up straight. "But you could've died…" She looked at me confused. I could see tears forming in her eyes. "Why save a complete stranger?" She asked me blinking her tears away. I felt my face heat up. "Well…uh, I don't know...in the back of my head I knew that I wanted to get to know you…" I said scratching the back of my head.
Your Pov
I blushed at what he said. "Well thank you. I'd like to get to know you too…" I told him looking at the ground. I gave him a hug. It seemed like he didn't know how to react. He hesitantly returned the hug. I turned my head and gave him a kiss on the cheek. He started to blush. "What is your name?" He asked looking away. "My name is _," I say pulling away from the hug, "What's yours?" He looked back at me, "Atem, pleasure to meet you, _"
