It was family reunion for the Penderwicks and they were going to have a feast, do some board games, and of course, some karaoke. Skye didn't like singing, but her sisters forced her to sing at least once. What they didn't know was that Jeffery ws coming over. wanted to keep this a surprise for the girls so he didn't say anything about it until he actually came.

ding dong! the door bell started ringing.

"Get the door Skye!" Said Rosalind

"Fine." Groaned Skye.

As she opened the door, she saw a young man with brown hair, and lots of freckles.

"Are you Jeffrey or Alec?" Asked Skye.

"Jeffery. " said the man.

" Well Come in!" Said a surprised Skye.

Everyone was excited to see Jeffery. They all said hello and introduced him to the people he didn't know. While everyone was chatting, Skye saw Jeffery, motion her to come to him.

what does he want? thought Skye as she walked over to him

" What?" Said Skye

"Let's do karaoke." Said Jeffery

"WHAT?!" exclaimed Skye as she pet her hands in the air. "Why?!"

"Come on!" Said Jeffery "It will be fun!"

Skye thought for a moment and finally said "Fine. But don't embarrass be. Got it?"

"Got it." Said Jeffery with a little grin on his face.

Soon, everyone finished eating and Rosalind's children started playing with board games. All the adults started talking until Jane said "Let's do some karaoke! " all the aduts agreed and finally, it was Skye's and Jeffery's turn.

The song Jeffery picked was love is an open door from frozen.

As the song started, Skye and Jeffery started singing.

When they got near the end, there was a surprise waiting for them both.

Jeffery: can I say something crazy?

Skye: I love crazy!

Jeffrey went down on his knees and took a tiny box out from his pocket and said : will you marry me?

Skye was so shocked! "Is this a joke?" Asked Skye.

"No" replied Jeffery

"Did you ask daddy and Iantha?" Questioned Skye

"Yes."said Jeffery "so are you going to say yes or no?"

"Yes, I will marry you!" exclaimed Skye.

Everyone cheered and Jeffery kissed Skye.

"This is one of the best things that ever happened to me!" Said Skye

" I guess so." Said Jeffery

"Are you going to betray me like how Hans did in the movie?" Asked Skye with a smirk on her face.

"Maybe."said Jeffery as he slid the ring on her finger.
