From afar, I watch Avery perform on stage. Our eyes interlock and a bond starts to form. I didn't know he was my brother until recently. I learned the truth during one visit with my mother at the mental hospital. Apparently, she had an affair while I was a child. She allowed a nice childless couple to raise Avery. I started searching for my brother immediately. Miraculously, we have found reunited here at the Bluebird in Nashville.

I catch up with my brother David after the concert. David says he enjoyed my performance. I am overwhelmed with joy and gratitude. Although we have known each other for five minutes, it feels like forever. I promise to visit him in Los Angeles someday.
