It was a pretty normal day on the watchtower. Well as normal as it can get for superheroes.
It was December 24. The air was Filled with cheer. That Even Batman was smiling. The only person who wasn't smiling was a certain scarlet speedster.
Christmas and celebrating just didn't feel right for Wally. Every year Artemis and him would go last minute Cristmas Shopping. And Get every member of the Team a present. Sometimes they would sneak into the cave at night and leave presents for the Younger members of the team. The only one who would know about that tradition and Dick and Kal'dur because they were usually the ones keeping watch of the cameras at night.
Wally smiled at the thought of that. The memories of the fun time they had together warmed his hearth, but then he would remember that he was stuck here. In this other world.
"Hey Hotshot!" John said as he walked by. Immediately breaking Wally from his train of thought.
"Huh? Oh! Hey GL" He said with a smile at the end. "What's up with you? It's not like you to not be just Happy" He said.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Wally said Playfully. "John Laughed" I mean usually you would laugh or crack a joke not just say Hey GL" He answered.
"What are you saying I'm losing my touch? We'll excuse me! Your just Jealous that the lady's like Red more then Green. He replied. Sliding back into his alter ego.
"Alright then, At least I Have a Girlfriend." John said. "But you Hotshot, I doubt you even have a Friend that a girl.
"Hey I definitely do!" He said angrily at the green space cop. "Of course you do" He said as he walked away.
