Disclaimer: I own nothing. I make no money out of this.
A/N: The chapters in this story are all short. Although, I think a lot more can be written.
But its just that that shorter I write, the fewer mistakes I make. So I guess its gonna be short and hopefully sweet for now.
A big thank you to my beta Trickster91.
Chapter 1: A New World
It hadn't been long since the warrior princess of Themyscira, had stepped out of the Island full of immortal woman and into the patriarch's world.
She had to admit though, when she first came into the Man's world she was what they would call "novice".
Not a novice warrior mind you!
If she ever heard you say that, she could tie you up with her lasso and drag you across the seven seas and hurl you into the pits of Tartarus. Either that or she will give you her 'Angry Amazon' look, which will bring out the same effect.
She was infact, one of the best warriors you could find. Blessed by Olympian deities and tried and tested by time. She was as wise as Athena, swifter than Hermes, stronger than Hercules and graced with eyes of hunter and unity with beast.
If there was something she was amateur at, then it was dealing with all these new relationships and emotions that she had been introduced to since she came into the man's world.
Back on the island, she was a daughter to her mother and a sister to the rest. She had experienced happiness and harmony on the Paradise Island where it was mostly peaceful. There were occasional wars induced by outsiders where she was allowed to display a warrior's hatred and anger towards her enemies. Relationships, feelings and emotion were all laid out simple and clear. No lies, no deception, no complications and no confusions.
But here in the man's nothing was that simple. Even Athena's blessings of great wisdom and intelligence, was of little help in uncovering the complex layers of human emotions and relations.
She could no longer categorize actions into right and wrong, good and evil or black and white. Her emotions were now more than happiness or sadness and love or hatred.
She had discovered so many shades of grey in between that most of the time she was lost on how to name them.
True to its image, the man's world, was a world of many sins. However, she found herself empathizing with criminals. And while she had not abandoned her morals and principles she was now aware of situations and events could create a criminal out of an ordinary man or a woman.
There was so much more to everything in this new world.
