The Prompt: Play Something Country by country artist Brooks and Dunn.
Supervisory Special Agent in Charge Aaron Hotchner was tired of hearing the music that was coming out of the speakers at the bar he was at and he looked at everyone and said "Can't they play something country? I do not mind this kind of music but to hear it constantly is going to drive me nuts."
Supervisory Special Agent Emily Prentiss chuckled at that and said "Come on Aaron lighten up some. Come out to the dance floor with me and dance."
Aaron thought about that for a minute and then nodded. At least he would be getting part of his wish which would be Emily in his arms. He is not sure for how long he has wanted her in his arms but it has been for quite some time. He stood up and held his hand out to Emily and then led her out to the dance floor.
Once on the dance floor Aaron smiled because it was as if the DJ had read his mind finally and started a slow country song. He pulled Emily into his arms and started swaying with her to the music. He pulled her body even closer to his and before he could stop himself he bent his head down and kissed Emily fully on the lips. When he heard her intake of breath he could not stop the smile from spreading across his face as he kissed her again.
Emily looked up at Aaron in shock and said "What was that for Aaron?"
Aaron grinned and then it turned into a smirk. "I have wanted to do that for so long Emily. I have been falling for you for the last couple of months and tonight I took the very last plunge into falling in love with you. You do not have to say anything to me but I just wanted to finally tell you how I felt."
Emily beamed a megawatt smile at Aaron. "That is good to know Aaron. I love you too and I am in love with you. Although I have to be honest and say I have been completely in love with you for almost a year now. I was just waiting on you to finally realize that you loved me and waiting for you to see what was right in front of your face Aaron. I have always been here for you and I always will be here for you. I am not going anywhere and I do not want to go anywhere. I want you and only you. I love you Aaron Hotchner."
Aaron smiled at that. "I want you and only you. I love you too Emily Prentiss. You have just made me the happiest man alive."
Emily chuckled and then pushed to her tip toes and pressed her lips firmly against Aaron's. She licked his bottom lip and then kissed him fully.
