Australia stared blankly at the bright screen of his television. Something just hadn't been feeling right for the couple of weeks. It was a thought that had been gnawing at the back head for a while now, but he could never put his finger on it. It wasn't anything job related- anything that he could do with his power was already done. Wildlife sancturies have had their annual checkups, breeding programmes have been improved, and as far as Australia was concerened, the zoo that was politics could handle itself on its own. Everything was hunky dory. Which was strange, really, there was always something for him to do. Recently it just seemed that everything had straightened itself out on its own with minimal influence.

What was this feeling?

Not being able to draw any conclusions, Australia stretched his arm out to pick up his phone, still staring at the T.V. He dialled a familiar number. It dialed once...twice...

On the 16th ring, the phone finally picked up.

"WHat...Have I told you...About calling me at this time of night?" a very exasperated sounding voice came from the other side.
"...Oh yeah, sorry about that... timezones." Australia replied absentmindedly. A rerun of a favourite documentary about the outback had come on.
"...Australia, are you high? What the hell are you doing?" The exasperation seemed to deepen. Australia watched some kangaroos run across the desert landscape.
"I'm watching some... uh. Kangaroos, yeah, that's what they're called. They're pretty cool."
He heard a deep sigh.
"Alright, then. That is wonderful to know Australia. Now, if you don't mind, I'd like to go back to slee-"
"Wait! No! England I need to ask you something!"
"...What."

Australia opened his mouth to speak. However, something had caught his eye. On screen, the host of the documentary was covered in mud, wrestling a crocodile. A lightbulb lit in his head.

"How's about you come over tommorow? Is it too short of a notice? It's really important." He tried to put on his most persuasive star-spangled-esque voice.
Could he find the answer to his dilemma like this?

He heard a click as England hung up.
