Picking up his briefcase, Nilesy stood at the doorway looking in the mirror. It had been stressful for him the last couple of months trying to hold a job, but finally he had snagged one he could be proud of. "I look strange in a suit. It's so different from fast food uniforms."
Sjin was standing close, smiling at him. "Of course it is, silly. You're in the big time now. No more flipping burgers and coming home smelling like fries."
He turned to him and sighed, "Big time, huh? That makes me nervous. I've never had an important job before. What if I screw it up?"
Stepping forward, Sjin took his tie, "That won't happen." He straightened it out and tightened it to fit him better. "There's nothing to be nervous about. Just go out there and do your best, honey."
Nilesy breathed out slowly to compose himself. "You're right. I worry way too much."
"I know." Sjin teased, "It's a good thing you have me to keep you grounded, huh?"
"Of course. I need you." Nilesy agreed, smiling happily.
Sjin smiled too and pulled him closer by his tie. "I need you too but if I don't let go, you'll be late for your first day so..." He reached up and pecked him on the cheek, "This will have to do."
"Just a peck on the cheek?" Nilesy whined as he pushed him towards the door. "Can't I at least get one on the lips?"
"Nope. I'll save that for when you get back. Now go do your job!"
Hand now on the door, Nilesy sighed. "Fine, but..." He turned around and smiled. "You better keep to that promise. Oh, and stay sexy while I'm gone, okay?"
Sjin laughed. "Of course."
"Good. I love you. See you later tonight." He said as he left the house with a grin on his face.
Sighing happily, Sjin watched him back out and drive away. Life was great for those two and it would only get better as time wore on.
