Draco polished his prized apple in the lounge. He was awful lonely when his adopted son, Scorpius, went off to Hogwarts. You see, Draco never really fell in love with a person. He fell in love with a fruit. A green apple, to be exact. And he decided to marry it. But when the court turned him down, well, he had no choice but to mentally marry it. He adopted a son, sense he had no wife, and thus came Scorpius.
Scorpius knew all about Draco's love. In fact, Draco was proud to announce his love to anyone who'd listen. Most of them just thought that something had gone wrong with his brain from the war, but he ignored them. He loved his apple, and she loved him. It was perfect.
He finished polishing the apple when his owl arrived. It was a letter from Scorpius. Draco smiled as he opened it, happy to hear from his lovely son.
Dear Father,
I really hate to break it to you, but I'll have to admit it sometime. It needs to be said. I prefer oranges.
Love your son,
Scorpius
WHAT? EXCUSE ME? Draco would not take this! An ORANGE? Over APPLES? How does one NOT love apples? Draco Flooed strait over to Hogwarts and demanded to see Scorpius Malfoy. Professor Longbottom pointed him toward the Slytherin Common Room. The entire room was empty except for Scorpius. And guess what? HE WAS SNOGGING A BLOODY ORANGE!
Oh, our dear old Scorpius was in for it now!
A/N: Just another thing I found on Tumblr. (The letter from Scorp to Draco.) Review or no apples or oranges for you! :D
