A.N: Hello everybody! Welcome to my eleventh fanfiction, even though this is rushed and extremely short it's something I got a chuckle out of in Epic Mickey from one NPC, the girl in the balcony in Bog Easy.
This was originally going to be a regular Disney story about Minnie but I had absolutely no time to type it out. So this blurpy thing will have to do.
Happy 83rd Birthday Minnie and Mickey!
Disclaimer: I do not own the Disney characters.
"Are you single? Is there a lady mouse in your life?"
They were a simple set of questions and really, Mickey shouldn't have hesitated on answering them, but he still hesitated nonetheless. Donald over heard them from the street below and laughed up a storm instantly at the look on Mickey's speechless face. If Oswald were in the vicinity he would have immediately called Mickey out on having a senior moment. Gus tried to encourage Mickey to just answer the girl standing before him who was apparently impressed with his jumping ability. Alas, Mickey stayed in place speechless, having not been asked those kinds of questions in a very long time.
It was simply a matter of principle, as Mickey saw it. Beside the very lady mouse in question, no one's ever really flirted with him before and he considered these kinds of questions being asked as flirting.
Eventually Mickey would finally come to his senses and answer this silly girl who apparently lived under a rock during her time in the cartoon archives before coming to Wasteland.
The answer was indeed simple, even though it took some time to respond. "No, I'm not single. And yes, there is a lady mouse in my life. Her name's Minnie."
